  • Saint Louis Black Fashion Week is more than a fashion event — it’s a love letter to Black creativity, a runway draped in legacy, and a sacred space where culture, community, and couture converge.

Born in the heart of the Midwest, this experience honors the richness of Black expression — from the ancestral threads of our past to the bold, unapologetic visions of our future. Every stitch tells a story. Every walk is a revolution. Every designer selected is not just showcasing garments — they're bringing forth a world, a perspective, a declaration.

Now entering its next decade, Saint Louis Black Fashion Week stands as the longest-running Black fashion event in the region — a living archive of style, resilience, and soul. Whether you’re in the crowd, on the catwalk, or behind the seams, this is where you come to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.

    Welcome home.

  • About Us

Founded in 2014, our event stands as a beacon of creativity, representation, and empowerment within the fashion industry. Over the years, we have celebrated the artistry and innovation of black fashion designers, models, stylists, and enthusiasts while highlighting the cultural heritage that inspires their work.

Our Founder: Timothy J. Moore, most known as T.Moore™

T.Moore, a trailblazer in the world of fashion and culture, envisioned a platform that would showcase the incredible talent and stories within the black fashion community. T.Moore's deep passion for celebrating cultural diversity and challenging conventional norms led to the creation of Saint Louis Black Fashion Week™. As a respected figure in both the fashion and artistic realms, T.Moore's leadership has been instrumental in shaping the event into what it is today.

    Journey Through the Years

    Inaugural Year: 2014

In 2014, Saint Louis Black Fashion Week debuted as the Suite7 Fashion Show, with a powerful message of artistic expression, diversity, and unity. The inaugural event set the tone for the years to come, featuring an inspiring array of fashion shows, exhibitions, and discussions that explored the intersection of culture and style.

    Growth and Influence

Under T.Moore's visionary leadership, Saint Louis Black Fashion Week grew in scale and significance with each passing year. The event garnered attention not only for its stunning fashion presentations but also for its commitment to fostering a sense of community, empowerment, and dialogue within the fashion industry.

    Evolution of Themes

Every year, Saint Louis Black Fashion Week embraced thought-provoking themes that resonated with the spirit of cultural innovation. From "Elevation of Identity: Redefining Black Fashion" to "African Diaspora: Threads of Unity," these themes showcased the multifaceted nature of black fashion and its deep-rooted connections to history and heritage.

    Honoring Excellence: Dreamer Legacy Awards

To celebrate the remarkable contributions of both emerging and established talents in the black fashion community, Saint Louis Black Fashion Week introduced the Dreamer Legacy Awards. This recognition honors designers, models, stylists, and activists who have made significant strides in pushing the boundaries of fashion while advocating for inclusivity and representation.

    Shaping the Future

As we reflect on our journey, we remain committed to T.Moore's vision of a fashion industry that celebrates culture, challenges norms, and uplifts underrepresented voices. Saint Louis Black Fashion Week continues to evolve, adapt, and create spaces for dialogue and creativity, ensuring that the legacy lives on through the artistry and stories of those who contribute to the event.
